In general the folks who perform these sorts of magics do not like to have them public. 99.9% of the stuff on the internet about these sorts of magics is not worth even reading. Of course most pages on the net don't count as credible sources anyways.

Since you are working on your thesis, I would recommend more book research and talking to people local to you in person. There are some anthropology books as well as books with personal interviews, as well as how to books that might help you.

The Afro/Cuban traditions as well as the older witchcraft traditions are where most of this sort of work stems from. Also, it is not very commonly used by modern practitioners due to their ethics, lack of knowledge, the three fold law etc. etc. Some modern Satanists do use this practice though. Aside from that it is practitioners that are going back into the older lore.

Hopefully your research gets you a little past "Voodoo spell kits" and the like LOL.
