Does anyone know of any good hoodoo/rootwork books? I've skimmed through some, but they're no good...Please don't reccoment hyatt books, I refuse to spend that much $ on books lol...Not to say the information in it can't be incredibly useful...but, with the money it takes to buy those books, I can get plenty of books that are just as useful. Grazie in advance.

I might be confusing you with someone else but you live in or near NYC don't you. I can pretty much guarantee that you can access to the fullHyatt set at one of the NY public or university libraries. It may be non-circulating but trust me $10.00 will probably get you at least 200 pages of photo copies to take home with you and you'll have a hell of alot more and better researched material than you'll get anywhere else.

Hoodoo always kind of pissed me off because the information on it is either really expensive or really crappy, and often both.

I'm looking here and if you do live in NYC they have 5 volumes of the Hyatt studies which if I remember (don't quote me on this) is the complete set at New York University in the Bobst collection.
Try this link NYU Bobst Library

Search for whatever you want. I think you have to pay a pretty big fee if you wanted to join and check things out but anyone can go in and browse and they have copiers.

If you live around there I am totally coming to sleep in your closet cause that library is awesome.
