Alright, so I'm never kein on sharing creepy experiences but I'd like to know what any of you may think. I remember when I was young, maybe 9, or 10, I was sitting on the steps of the basement of the building next to mine, these two other kids appeared out of nowhere, they looked native american or arabic, but pale, the area around their eyes were very dark, and remember the shining I think it was? well they looked like they were twins, just one male, and one female. I don't remember them talking at all, they just nodded, or shook their heads, or smiled when spoken to. They took me into a door in the basement, and there were adults, but none of them seem to notice I had entered, they took me to this closet door, opened it, and there were a shitload of toys, piled up like they were about to fall, but didn't. I don't remember if they offered me something to play with, or if I took it or not, but the next day when I went down there, it looked like no one had been there for years..Dirty, it basically looked the way a building basement should look with the boiler and whatnot, no one was there, nothing was around. Now I was a very antisocial kid so this didn't seem strange at the time. I had recently asked the owner of that building, and my mother if they ever remembered those people, but they looked at me as if I were some sort of retard. Any one ever had a weird experience like this? I've read of children seeing 'things' of the such, but never realy heard anyones experiences.

Sounds pretty neat! I love to hear of tales that perplex normal logic/experience.
I would like to respond in kind with a short ramble...for whatever it is worth.
About 30 years ago I was enjoying the recuperation of double pneumonia and the subsequent absence of work. My days were spent painting or visiting my buddy for extended walks in the countryside. I had received a phone call from my friend to come over to his house as an advent to a hike in a nearby forest. It was a Wednesday, around 10:30 AM and a clear day...a promise of an enjoyable outing. I lived in a studio apartment in the southside of town. My trip began with packing a rucksack and heading for my VW bug. The car was in decent shape and I had no trouble pulling on to the north-south road heading north into the city. My friend lived at his parents house (and was also enjoying a blissful lack of employment) in thr northern side of town, a trip of about 10 minutes all told. As I was traveling along I noticed a slowdown in traffic just ahead and a glimmer of flashing lights. As I slowly progressed in traffic, it became evident that there was a number of fire engines and police cars clustered on the opposite side of the street. We (the traffic) came to a halt as firemen rushed from truck to hydrant, dragging those canvas hoses used in their 'trade'. Minutes ticked by as the firemen attacked a fire that had sprung up in a florist shop. The large plate glass windows had suffered by the fire and the attempts to put out the blaze. We were stuck in the traffic jam for over 25 minutes while the police and firefighters organized the scene of devastation. When traffic started up again I noticed the blown out windows and the blackened storefront, the gutters running with sooty water. A policeman whom I had chatted with during the jam waved me on, rolling his eyes as I waved during passing him and the store. I pulled into my friends driveway about 15 minutes later, the trip taking about 45 minutes as opposed to 10. My buddy came out of the house and off we went. Later that day I drove by the scene of the fire. After explaining to my friend about the fire at Tommy's Florist shop I was chagrinned to find that the building was in perfect shape! No evidence of a fire or police yellow tape...nothing!
What had happened? Where was I for 35 minutes on that Wednesday morning...sitting motionless on the street? The mystery remains to this day. The florist shop is still standing, has never suffered a fire. I leave it to your imaginations. It does make for an entertaining story but these questions remain unanswered.
