I would like some help in a choice that I have to make so if anyone could help me I would appreciate it. I want to study the art of evocation of spirits to the physical plane, but I don't wanna do it by myself, I wanna join a group may a mentor, I always loved the free-masons, but after recently speaking to a member he disencouraged me saying that they don't work with that type of magick, so I've got my eyes set on the GD now. I would like to know, in which direction would you guys point me, or even to another order, that will help me with my primary goal that is to learn evocation, and secondary that is to learn all I can about the astral plane.

Ps. I know that it will take alot of practice and time to be able to summon a spirit to the physical plane.

Yes it is possibe. I have seen physical manifestation before. It is rare but it does happen. Although I want to point out that it is not important to have physical manifestation in order to get results.

well I actually wanna talk to an astral being, and I would perfer if it wasn't just a voice in my head, because than I might think I'm going crazy and should be commited. The only reason I wanna evoke spirits is so I can learn from them, I don't really need the spirit to do anything for me, I rather do it my self, But these being have been around for a while now and I would really love to be able to learn from them. So that's the reason that I want so much to be able to evoke diferent beings, just to learn more about life and the universe and anything the would like to share with me. Do you think I'm a little crazy for wanting this?
