In the LBRP ritual we vibrate God names -correct.
Is it essential to know the meaning of these names for the ritual to be effective ?

It is better to know what things mean as they provide a map for you if you are hoping for a particular outcome, but I did my first LBRP hardly knowing what it was for and I got results; on the one hand it tells me that you don't need to know what things are about to get results, the only problem is when you get further into your practices, if you don't know what is going to happen, you may end up getting results you don't want and they may not always be easy to reverse.

Yes, you vibrate the God names unless you are doing it silently, but people usually start out doing the whole thing in the physical until they start to feel and 'see' things, then you will find that you don't need to do everything in the physical.

Is thinking about the names while doing the LBRP effective for beginners ?

Also can anyone briefly explain the meaning of the words used. (I'm a beginner.)

Atah- "Thou Art"
Mahlkuth- "The Kindom"
Vig'Boorah-"and the Power"
Vig'doolah- "and the Glory"
Liohlaham- "Forever"
Ahmen- Amen

As for the God names they too have meaning, I only know the meanings of Eheiei (excuse my spelling) it means "I AM". Aglah is a Noiktaron(Code) for a larger hebrew phrase. YHVH is the ultimate unspeakable name of God, its true pronunciation is unknown. And Adony means "My Lord".

You can just type in something like " what are the meanings of the god names used in the LBRP" on a search engine like google.

As for thinking about the meanings as you perform the ritual: that is not neccessary, because at that moment you should be focusing on the visualizations and the actual vibration. You can't do three things at once. But you should have some feeling of devotion to the Allmighty.

Aglah is a Noiktaron for "Thou art great forever my Lord"
