Hey,

Had a quick question, and I didn't quite know where to put it, but here it goes. If you stare at an object for a long time then shift whatever you were looking at you will get what many consider an aura colour no matter what the background. If you stare at a person, no matter what the background (though it should, preferably be a lighter colour) you will get the same results. My question is how we should differentiate between auras that are produced by objects and auras that are produced by persons. The colours do indeed change in objects as much as they do for persons. For many, auras are considered definitive proof of the astral body encasing the soul. How do we defend this notion in light of the question at hand?

Good day to you and yours,

Mr. Curi

IMO, Inanimate objects have energy that is neither intelligent or feeling. They still have energy and it can percieved as ever changing and even containing color like a person's aura. You might even be confused if an object is living or not as living energy does seem to collect as residue on inanimate objects. The thing about this kind of energy is that its not just matterial objects that seem to radiat energy. Its really everywhere and in all stages of matter. Living energy is different from the rest because it is emotional and intelligent. Even plants share these qualities.

When we create egregors or give inanimate objects energy we in away give life to the object. Its not actually living on its own but the object reinforces intention and the energy you give it and continue to give it keeps the intention of the object alive.

An experiment you could try is to create a doll or statue and give it to a friend. Ask them to spend once a day holding this object while thinking about one specific emotion and what in their life is causing this. It can be any emotion really but they can't tell you what it is until at the very end of the experiment. After say two weeks of this get the object back and you yourself spend time with it and try to feel the energy in the object. I do this by clearing my mind and vissualize the energy of the object touching my aura and I try to pick up sensations. The importance of clearing your own mind is so that you don't corrupt the energy in the object and feel something from yourself. Try to think of both the emotion presant in the object and what has caused it. Check your accuracy by telling your friend what you felt and have them tell you if it was accurate or not.

If you can't find a willing partner for this you can try it with random objects you know are important to people. Like a wedding ring or valuble necklace. Just don't steal anyting!

This is actually basic psychometry or the art of reading the energy imprinted on objects by other people. Practicing this regularly might teach you to differentiate living energy from matterial energy.
