knife in tree (branch) omen? Options

I was out in my backyard today, and I noticed something rather odd. About twelve feet up, there is one of my nice kitchen knives stuck into the side of a dead branch. If you saw the angle at which it is stuck you would realize that it could not have been plced there by hand, or else the dead twigs in front of it would have broken. I seriously doubt someone could have thrwon it into the branch considering that the knife would have to pass through a bunch of small branches with leaves in front of where it stuck. So my question is, does anyone have any insight to this?

I think you are readin too much into this a mundane answer is much more probable. However if you are sure of something supernatural then post a picture I would love to see why you assume more than someone putting it their.
