lol. Where are the rest of these techniques? Your thing seems to resonate best with me. (IMG:

I was taught a simple trick to get your astral senses opened up years ago. Take a candle a place it on maybe a nightstand or end table next to your bed. Every night befoe you go to bed turn out the lights and light the candle. Say a prayer, or just state what you want to get out of this exercise. Then stare at the candle flame for as long as your can with out breaking concentration. Maybe at the most I can go 30-40 mins with out breaking a sweat, but it takes a lot of focus. Also turn off any fans or AC that might be blowing the candle flame around a bit. The more focused you can be the better, also make sure your comfortable. Sit in a chair, or just sit in a comfortable position.
The key is to block everything out but that candle flame, at this point after about ten minutes everything around me goes black and I can see my self sort of glowing in the blackness. I try and hold this as long as I can, sometimes I sort of phase in and out, that is why I was calling it phasing.
I have also used the mirror technique I mentioned above, or sometimes I use both the mirror and candle in the same night.
I always wonder where the phrase "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?"
After awhile I noticed that even in the day time I could see white outlines around people about 1"-2" off the skin. I would guess I'm seeing part of their aura. I have not developed my astral sight to actually see aura colors. I do see energy waves sometimes just around me in general, but I usually don't see color. Now that I think about it most of my astral vision(s) have been Black and White. (IMG:

Tyday I was not holding back, there is just so many ways to develope your (astral) senses that I can't think of them all. I hope this helps you a little more.
