Hey, i was just practicing the LBRP and it kind of feels colder inside the place where i have done it, i'm wondering if this is some indication that i have done it right?

Check your body temperature. Often times in the past when i've performed the LBRP and similar rituals, the heat of my body makes the surrounding room seem colder.

Otherwise, perhaps it is he reaction to some other energy being banished by the ritual. In the only excorcism i have witnessed, the unfortunate victim became ice cold at the moment that the entity was driven from her.

During the cold months, I keep a candle lit for Agni, the fire god, or at least that energy, to keep the room warm. Works like a charm.

In any case, all manner of things may happen, largely depending on what energy is in the area at the time of the banishing. you might do some work to observe the energy of the ritual space before hand, and see if you notice any patterns.

Good work,

peace

Patterns - synchronicities, differences between what you feel initially and what you feel afterwards.

To check the energy of a place, a good way to start is by simply meditating in your room and observing your emotional connection to it. Observe how you react to everything in the room. Does it make you tired, upbeat, lonely, angry - these things may not be extreme, just as we do not always feel all of our emotions in extremes, but you should try and quiet the mental chatter for a bit to observe, and you'll begin to recognize the emotional nature of the energy there. It's important to recognize emotions as the reaction we have to energy, so that we can observe them and not get caught up in them during magickal practice.

Other ways to observe the energy involve astral sight - simply take a look at your room astrally, note how it looks, and define what what you see means to you.

There are any number of ways. In any case - you should definitely be working on becoming connected to whatever space you're working in. The more you understand it, the greater your connection to it, and the more powerful your magickal work will be in that space.

As far as your dad being a minister - that depends. I have seen some ministers who carry an aura of purity - they normally have a much deeper understanding of the message behind christianty and are truly devoted to it. Ministers who are more zealous, fanatical, etc., take the bible itself litterally, sometimes carry a powerful aura, but one of agressive obsession - and they are normally accompanied by some sort of bad spirit. So, depends on your dad. Basically, is religion a source of love, or a source of hate, for him?

Getting results only takes a strong will - understanding, controlling, and learning from results, takes observation and contemplation.

peace
