You know, I actually want to get my hand's on a copy of the Bruce book. When faced with the choice a couple of years ago, I bought the Denning and Philips book. I must say, it is of the highest quality. I agree that it is "basic", but like many things that are basic, the ideas expressed and the learnings gained are of the highest integral importance, and enable you to really grasp more advanced techniques learned elsewhere. (Or figured out by yourself) I would heartily suggest the Denning and Phillips book first, before I would then reccomend certain sections of Tactical Magick (for example, since I have read that book, but not the Bruce book)
Kinjo, you think you could do a full review of the Bruce book for us? I've been putting off a review of the Denning and Phillips book for awhile now, and honestly it's the one book in my library that I feel like doing a review for, lol!
