Invisibility

All my life i have been fascinated by this concept of invisibility; if it exists and if its possible. And so i ask, does anybody here know if can be done? I read somewhere that they believe the machine might have been capture from some alien space craft???? (I'm not 100% sure on that though.) Its interesting though.
