I was wondering something, have always wondered it in fact--just got reminded just now. Is Varloorni (in the conjuration of Bandar it is said) really in fact R'lyeh of the Cthulu Mythos?

Just wondering--because I think so! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/play_ball.gif)

Hi,
I dont know... To me the incantation of
QUOTE
By the Veils of sunker Varloorni,
and by the Lights of Shamash

sounds a lot more like 'by the veils of night, by the lights of Shamash'. (veils of night is used in other incantations that I've read)

To me it would make sense since the Bandar invocation is ussually done at night, so having a phrase for only the lights of Shamash (daylight) would not make much sense unless the night is referenced somehow as well.

My two cents, (pure speculation)

Traveller.
