Goetia Naked, Naked being no circle. Options

Okay here is my question. Has anyone here ever used the Goetia without any protection? Just your aura and your will. Has anyone here known anyone else that did that? What happened?

I summoned Dantallion without a circle, and commanded him to manifest in the name of "Yeshuvah." He really did not seem to mind. At times he would ask me rather personal questions of my thoughts and other times try to test my Will. Each time I simply lifted my Solomonic sword and said "Tetragrammaton." What names or method you use to call the spirits are less important, imho, than how much of their conciousness that you call. For example: If you summoned Asmonday to a semi-physical form without a circle, you had better be ready. On the other hand, calling him astrally into a mirror or your third eye would have less risks. Even if Asmonday were to not attack one, it is likely one's body would FEEL like it is being attacked because of the foriegn energy penetrating your aura with the absence of a circle. Though again, evokation to the astral would likely not produce these effects or at the least it would drastically lessen them.
