Petitioning Spirits, not evocation . . . just petting the kitty, not taming the tigers

If so, any experiences you can relate? I'm sorta trolling here, as I'm in the process of starting a goetic petitioning work . . . and am simply looking for ideas and creative approaches. You might find a few hinters in my working with the Daemons article, which I am pretty sure is posted in this section somewhere. I recommend starting with one that you get a very good feel from. I have found that different people work well with different Daemons.
