I would use prayer before an astral journey to ask god to protect me and my family. I would use majic to create a circle of protection around myself and i would use energy and meditation to enter the astral. The point is that we all have a gift of one kind or another. The very last thing i would ever want to do is start squibbleing and argueing about any of this among occultists. The christian religion (all religions) have already done a wonderful job of segregating, categorizeing, and KILLING anyone that has not followed there belief. In my opinion with the short time we have left i want nothing more than to see all occultists of all kinds co-exist and not worry where there ability came from but how they will use it to affect the world and make ourselves strong for the comeing of the new age.
