I was wondering then if you can spend what would seem like 50 years in the astral plane and come back to the physical plane a few minutes after you left your body. Imagine what you could achieve if you could do that. Instead of spending your whole life reading and learning in the physical world you could learn the same information in the astral realm but only spend seconds in the physical world. Is my theory on time in the astral realm way off?

But I wouldn't count on "staying" in the astral for too long as it can spew some major problems in your daily physical life, and I also do not believe that it would be nearly as easy to stay in the astral for 50 years.
