Faustian Tarot Options

I've just realised that i'm missing a tarot deck and needed to get one, but I will need a good deck, hearing about Dr. Johannes Faust's tarot deck I was aroused.

As far as i've heard, Dr. Faust's deck is exceptional, but something tells me that its alot similar to the Necronomicon, in that it has a long history behind it, the eldritch of all eldritch tarot decks...

Now who has heard of Dr. Faust's deck? who has used his deck? Anything so special about it?

Oh, you were asking about the historic Dr. Faust... I thought that was the name of the deck. Yeah, I've heard some people talk about the deck he may have used, I don't think there is a consensus though. Check out link 1 and Link 2 as they are really informative sites about the Tarot and the history of the designs. I think there were only 7 decks that were produced before and during the historic Faust's lifetime, you'll find them listed in Link 2 (under Key Pages> Tarot Decks> Tarot Decks by Date). Good luck, let me know if you manage to find a place that sells these as I could use a new deck myself.

O I thought he had a tarot deck for "himself", the reason I know not much about his deck is because of the lack of history behind his tarot deck, but that is also the case about the man himself.

However, what i'm trying to find out is if "his very own tarot deck" as was rumored by many is actually what they say it is, if it is such a good tarot deck. If not, i'd surely try and find another "old" tarot deck.
