Dear DeathStalker,

I was very intrigued by your posts about 'The Vampire Bible' and related materials. So I looked the book up in the Online Library. If I may be allowed to say so, I think it could use some editing and polishing. That's not a dig, really, I don't suppose that most of what's worth reading didn't benefit from a few revisions here and there. Personally I believe in the phenomenon of psychic vampirism, so I wouldn't think of arguing there. But some of the teachings that accompany it here confuse me.

I'm sure I can't do the teachings justice, so forgive me for being stubborn enough to give at least one example of what perplexes me. The author repeatedly asserts that the wisdom and experiences taught in the Vampire Bible are invisible and condemns those who use the physical to discount his/her teachings. Yet, in the Vampire Bible, he describes some physical signs that could indicate the rituals are going well(temperature changes, cold breezes, etc.)

I don't have an informed opinion of the book as much as I have an impression. And that is that 'The Vampire Bible' goes a good way towards romanticizing Psychic Vampirism, but it needs a rewrite to get all the teachings in line with each other. The Creed makes a distinction between Fantasy and Magick, I'm not sure if there really is one. My idle daydreams might be the baby steps towards a full blown divine revelation down the line. So I wish the Temple of Vampires well in their endeavours, to bring meaning to the lives of the likeminded. Even a shattered dreamer Dreams, if but darkly.

Just my opinions,
Oliver

The way the site is stated, it states: " do not share information nor buy from other places books we carry ", so I'd be skeptical about the pdf. Pdfs are also not usually complete books.

I couldn't even find the book anywhere else besides their site.

Anyways I ordered it, if its good I'll post about it and you can decide. I'll attest to it when it comes.

Cheers.

ps. the whole temple is said to take place in the astral realm, I am not sure about how "true" what they say is, maybe some other people can speak about this site.
