 The Information Model?, Is it the paradigm for psionic magic?

I was just curious,

I've been trying to figure out what the Information Model is, exactly, for a while now and the best I can guess is that it's creating magic by simply using your thoughts (rather than spirits and energy projection) to influence the universe.

Is that the gist of it? Is it just psionic magic, or is there more to it?

Just wondering.

The information model is akin to treating your mind as a computer that you can install different software into, as opposed to the old evoking/invoking spirits and demons (unless that's the program you choose to install), in order to experience different virtual realities. John C. Lilly's "programming and meta-programming the human bio-computer". Watch movies like The Matrix or The Thirteenth Floor to understand the "reality as coded information" metaphor or take a look at Principia Cybernetica for some excellent ideas regarding the applications of information/systems theory.
