The Chakra is an essential part of the physical body and the astral or spiritual body. The most comprehensive study to date ive seen is Judith Anodea's "wheels of life".
Yes they do work and they work extremely well. The Chakra and a combination of meditation, proper breathing, and study of energy and how it works in the astral and in the body. To me those things will allow you to perform any Magick or esoteric work that you can find. Dont get me wrong you need to study and learn as you go but those are the essentiasl to obe, remote viewing, Mysticism, magick, energy training, shamanism, you name it.
