Chakras, or "Chakrams" are more like energy portals for our etheric and astral bodies, they enable us to consume energy and the opposite, to render it.

We have 7 main Chakrams, each starting from the tail-bone and moving to the crown; and we also have over 200 minor chakrams.

Chakrams exist in the etheric and astral planes too, but they are not so much physical as we percieve them in the mundane. They are almost like a gastly substance within the astral and etheric bodies, and they are not at all in one spot, but are generated within the same concept: hearing, touching, smell, etc.
