I don't think Black is a symbol of satanism personaly...yet I have met Many people that do think it is...

Black is not entirely the colour of Satanism.

Satan's colour is Red.

Black is the colour of the abyss, darkness, and thus the "unknown".

We Gothics wear black because we have a connection with "darkness" (unless you have this connection you just won't understand).

Black is also the colour of being "misunderstood" thus looked at as "evil" by the majority. For me, black is a colour of understanding, spirituality, and higher level connection.

Also, black is the color of sexy. Yeah, that totally makes sense, especially if you've ever seen a gothic woman.
