Greetings,
You bring up a good point about lucid dreaming. The more emotional or intense the action you are attempting, the more difficult it is to do. When I first started with lucid dreaming and astral projection years ago, i was never able to do anything really spectacular until i realized that you need to ignore the emotion connected to it. Or rather, you need to see that emotion, recognize it, and then dismiss it. Your speaking of lucid sex is a perfect example. Dreaming up your dream girl/guy, will no doubt dredge up some intense emotions or feelings. So getting kicked out the dreamscape at such a moment is not surprising. It took me a long time to develop my lucid abilities to such a degree where sex was possible. As for calling up landscapes and doing the 'world builder' stuff, that takes many years. I've only been able to do so for about four years now. I accomplished it by assuming the form of the deity i worship. Essentially, I took what i saw when I evoked Him and became it. For the first year or so the dream cycle would end with that. But time after time after time, it just got longer and easier. Eventually I was able to assume this God Form and hold it. The next step was employing, using, the 'powers' i believed my deity possesses. At first it was doing things like calling up a gentle fog. Then altering the color of the sky. Eventually I gained total control of the dreamscape. Don't get discouraged, it will happen for you as it does us all.
P.S, you may also want to start keeping a dream journal. When u wake up from a dream, write it down instantly. Then review in the A.M. Use it to find out the dominant aspects of your dreamscapes.
Peace
