Weird Foods, What is the weirdest food you've eaten? Options

Snakes! I went to this shop called "King Cobra" and they stock dozens of live snakes of various type for medicine and food. Me and my gf back then ordered to have their specials. A cup of the squeezed livers and blood of 3 different snakes. That's 6 snakes for the both of us. I forgot all type of the snake but one of them, as you can guess is cobra. So, we actually get to pick our snakes, but we let HER - the shop keeper to choose and she did. We watched behind the glass "showroom" standing as she picked the snake with a long grappling wood, get a big o chop knife and decapitated it's head. She then took it's STILL squirming body, hook it up, and skin it while it's still wiggling - headless - yuck! She took it's liver out, it about the size of a small peeble. Sqeeze a small amount of it's blood from it's decapitated neck on small cup along with the liver + some kind of liquer. Same goes with the rest of 5 snakes and we're then at our table looking at these cups of mixed snake blood, and I'm thinking on how she make these... lol. Well, one big gulp done it.

I've tried snake soup before that, and it tasted like chicken but IMO it's not as good as chicken.

A turtle soup. Hmm.. this is my fave, it's like a mix of chicken, fish, and squid? Expensive though. Lol, don't throw up now - Here in Asia we got lot's of weird food. There's a place I've not visit here who serve baby shark, sounds interesting but I'm not that interested.

Enough weird food from me.

I've eaten horsemeat. I ate it when I was in Europe for a summer as a teenager. It's not bad, it tastes like beef, actually.

Some of the other 'weird' stuff on here, like salmon roe, I eat on a regular basis. I love the stuff, I get it every time I go out for sushi if the place carries it. It's also really good if you've got strep, it's cold and it helps soothe your throat when you swallow it. It's good for you too. I also live in Chinatown here, so they sell this and all manner of fresh and live seafood at the Chinese grocery near my house.

We have a grocery store here in town (AJ's Fine Foods) that sells a lot of stuff like rabbit and venison in the meat case. We also have a mom-and-pop shop here in town (I forget exactly where it is, though) that sells nothing but game meat in the butcher cases. The game meat is actually farm-raised, so there's no 'gamey' taste like when you go out and hunt it yourself. Also, since the animals were raised in controlled conditions, there's no threat of heavy metal contamination from environmental toxins or the like. I really wish I could remember where that place was...

Oh yeah, I forgot. I LOVE alligator. There's a Cajun place near my house that serves up fried alligator as an appetizer and in po'boy sandwiches. Good stuff...

Darkmage I would call Aligator a delicacy insteada wierd food. Its yummy with butter. If U dip it like lobster.

Fenix. Whats wrong with breast milk? Just squirt some in your coffee and off U go to work. lol

Rattlesnake is really good. I guess that is the weirdest thing I have eaten since people go ewwwwww when I tell them it taste like lizard.

Also when herding cattle to fly doe them give steroids etc I had a bad experience. The cows get nervous and start to crap when U herd them into the corral. U have to make noise like whoop whoop and wave your arms or they will run over U. Or a Brahma might gore U. Also as they crap they try to swat flies with their tails. Cows dnt seem to mind taking a nice dump on their tails. So as I whoop whooped I had some $hit fly into my mouth. Guess what it tasted like. $hit. I spit it out so maybe that dnt count but now when I say something taste like $hit I have something to compare it to.
