Also, simply practice and experience will help. It's not too uncommon to have VERY "blurry" or vague vision to begin with When I started AP'ing (after the imaginative period), I was very visually confused and would often find myself in a "dark" state. Not really a light or non-light, more of a fade in and out of "visual" cues. It gets better.
