Wings.. Options

I was just curious to know if anyone had any insight on the appearance of wings on humans. I'm not exactly planning to whip me up some big angel wings and go zipping about, but I thought this was certainly worth discussing. From what I hear, any sort of "controlled mutation" can be very dangerous and troublesome. But other than that the only way I can think of would be to make a deal with an angel or demon. Has anyone here tried this? or atleast thought about it?

I've had a couple of instances where I was doing a shared astral journey with a partner and they claimed afterwards that I had the wings of an angel (bright white, yellow and feathery). I don't visualize wings about myself so I figured maybe what they saw was and interpretation of my aura. Which in the astral, etheric sense, one should consider what they think constitutes wings. Wings in the litteral sense or wings as a metaphor? At any rate wings on the astral plains might tell others you are something that you really are not. So in that sense they might be dangerous. However, as in my case, if other entities see you as having wings through no fault of your own, I don't see why that would be a problem, thats just the way you are.
