My first practices with aura sight was useing an eight ball and also the moon. As i continued my studies i found that the moon has a magnificent blue aura (once in a blue moon) and my eight ball had a purplish grey aura. As i continued i learned to read people, plants and animals. This is really one of the fastest and easiest studys i ever did. Once you can do this on a regular basis it helps with just about every aspect of wakeing and indeed dreaming life.

Here is a web link that i used almost exclusively while i was in practice. At times i still return to stare at the circles and see how long i can hold them in place. The mix of esoteric and scientific at the site helped me in this modern day to pick up aura vision very fast. It does take a bit of dedication and time. But in the end a invaluable tool is at your finger tips. Or should i say retinas. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/i_triangle.gif)

By the way the entire web site is great.

Dear Enochian!

Thanks very much for that link! I went to it and now it seems that I have always been able to see aruas to some degree, but just did not know it! Now I know what to look for I can develop the power! Nice one! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yes2.gif)

I just did the exercises and found that I could get the cross and maintain it pretty well, although sometimes one or the other colour dominated, but by concentrating on it I could get it to become merged - probably gonna take me some time to hone it completely but I'm on the way! I also have some focus issues to deal with cause as soon as the aura becomes really visible, its hard not to focus on it directly! hehehehe...

I also believe that recently I got the ability to perceive chi around people as well - I have been doing Kung Fu for several years now and I recenty went to an intensive 1 week course involving Chi Kung and Kung Fu and the course was so intensive I think my mind kinda "let go" and my skills definitely improved (I think that was one of the points of the course!) and as a "side effect" I also started seeing layers around people that are like see-through and kinda like heat haze above fire - and I find i can more directly focus on this layer... although I need to concentrate and be in the right frame of mind to see it, its getting easier... I'm not sure if this chi arua is connected to auras in general - but I believe it is... they do seem to be connected and maybe overlapping? The chi layer is quite narrow on most people but seems to correspond perhaps with the amount of chi or flow a particular person has?
I'll keep up the work on it! Very interesting!

Thanks again!

Smasher, I have the same problem that you do, I have a hard time seeing color, I see just a white light, although it does tend to have varying intensity, and I can interpret shades in my mind, though they do not show up in my sight per say. I have found that I am able to percieve textures better than color, so instead of red I feel heat, instead of blue, fluidity, instead of yellow, tinglies, instead of black, heaviness, etc. No reason not to continue working on seeing color, I still do, but I am also color blind to some shades, and have wondered if that was the reason I interpret energies on a different sensory.

Sephiroth, When you spar, try and keep your mind focused on the person's energy rather than their physical body - you may take a few hits at first! - and you will likely find that the aura of chi that you mention becomes agitated in a particular area when the person is about to strike. This is the build up of chi in a fist/foot, etc., the comes before an actual attack. It requires some reflex, but can be an invaluable advantage in martial arts. Of course, I think that it will come instinctively, as with very seasoned martial artists, but focusing some attention there can only help to develop the talent.

Alafair, in your experience while there is normally a dominating shade (texture, in my case) have you found that there can be some distinction between the head, torso, and legs? I have often found that the intensity of an aura can be different in those major parts of the body, and the textures are sometimes different as well. Some people have a very 'airy' aura around the legs and hips, which I have associated with people who are not very grounded, and some have static but only around the head, which i've always associated with neurosis of some kind. I've never asked questions of the people I was looking at, though, to find out for sure...

I find the excercises challenging, it's a good site, hopefully it will help improve my own sight over time, I have wondered if the same shade (i.e. red aura) can have different textures, and I am only percieving an aspect.

peace

The aura is intense around the head and torso and fades on the outer limbs becasue they are not really essentials. I suppose that you could say the less grounded have airy aura, but this very rarely includes the hip region - usually the head is the affected region - AIR HEAD - and you are right about the head area showing neuroses. It is a good idea to ask questions as that is part of the learning curve.

Question. A Reiki master says my aura is bright reddish orange. What does reddish orange detect? Do peoples aura colors change? Will different people see the same person in different colors?

If I have someone sit in front of a white wall and concentrate on the white around them I start to see a little rainbow.

What do I do just concentrate on that?

A bright reddish orange aura usually denotes a highly charged libido. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/banana.gif)

And no-one is the same so every thing is different to every one. Including colours. Don't concentrate on trying to see aura. It happens. Practice on trees (if you can find one) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bones.gif)

If you find a white background is easier, use the daylight/tree experiment, but in my experience, tree auras are more spectacular against a dark sky.
