Interested To Know About Spirits That Take The Form Of An Owl Options

First came into direct contact with this spirit on 21st Oct 06. I took a aggressive approach at first as frankly I was frightened (I also thought it may have been the 'eyes' of a remote-viewer who was spying), which I now realise was the wrong stance to take, however since then I have been nurturing a relationship with this entity

I'm curious to know of anyone else’s experience with spirits that take the form of owls or similar. It was pointed out to me that the drawing I had made of this owl looked similar to the mothman, only with feathers and black and yellow eyes.

Description:
Roughly 6ft high, similarly coloured as a barn owl only with hints of purple on her (I assume) wings. The shoulder joints share both a pair of wings and arms (the arms are separate from the wings and appear very human-like). Her feet aren't splayed out as most birds are, the claws are focused and bent inwards around a limited area, giving the impression of hoofs to mine eyes. No hint of scaly skin on the legs as with most birds either. Right down to the claws themselves is covered with feathers. Edit: Should add here that these details are overwhelmed by this being's huge eyes.

No name has come to me for this being, which is unusual in my experience.

Funny thing is, my family use to have a barn owl called athena when I was a kid - never had any bad experiences with her other than she would take a nip at you with her beak if you messed around. Owls have always been beautiful creatures to mine eyes. Another thing is that owls are often seen guarding earth goddesses (forgotten the specific names, something akin to semerasis...) in sumerian mythology.


Some of the points raised here can be answered by explaining how this came about to begin with:
In October, 2006, I was having a shower, as I usually do before I perform the lesser banishing ritual, which would then followed by concentration while in the lotus position - always found that concentration is much easier if you calibrating the mental atmosphere beforehand with the lbrp.

I get out of the shower and put on the clothes I usually wear for most magical operations, I pop into the kitchen to get a drink just before and I look out of the window in front of the sink (it's twilight outside, nobody else in the house) and I physically see for an instant a huge pair of eyes, that's the first thing I noticed, blacker than black pupils with a thin yellow halo of an iris about them - then the human hands and arms, etc.

Like I said I was shocked and frightened so I ran off into the other room with the altar, incense, dagger, and so forth - and perform the lbr immediately which when I finished I noticed a pressure or displacement in the Circle to the north but I couldn't physically see anything, so I sat down in the centre of the circle and stilled my mind and poured myself into my forehead so that I may mentally see what it was. Sure enough the owl-being was there, simply watching. I didn't think at all, my mental body stood up while my physical body remained seated and I could see and feel completely with my mental body, which I had never been able to do before or since - I extended my right hand outwards and it 'glowed' gold and I could feel the heat of a golden pentagram traced on the palm-side of my hand, the highest point being alligned on my middle finger. the two lower points being either side of where your hand connects to your wrist. This golden light seemed to 'blast' the owl backwards, falling through the wall and dissipating into the aether, the way it dissipated reminded me of how it looked like in Tron when programs were de-rezed.

Never had something so dramatic and movie-like ever happen as that - some of it sounds funny but I'm reporting it how it was.

It's immensely difficult to get the eyes down right, it's equally difficult to describe their character using words... they seem to at once piecing and very focused, but at the same time simply absorptive of everything.

As soon as I had finished writing and actually thought about it I had realised how stupid my actions were, they were borne out of fear - in a military scenario say, my actions would be like destroying a building without first working out whether or not it was part of the enemy's infrastructure or not...

Since then I've built up a rapor with this being and it feels right in my heart - no bad vibes at all, and this owl being hasn’t invaded my thoughts since then.

Thought about at the time what owls from a esoteric viewpoint are all about-
They can see where others cannot.
They have a massive field of vision.
They fly silently and have amazing hearing.

Main emphasis seems to be their Sight, from their appearance.

I don't think this owl is a expression of Lilith, I don't feel a connection between myself and her on a sexual level, she isn't revealing any so-called Big Secrets in such a way to indicate seduction - I've seen one of those talismans you mentioned on the door of a flat, written in hebrew - before then I had seen it on the telly. There was alos an amulet you're supposed to use as well...

Heard stuff about how the hebrew people were descended from a birdtribe, or that a birdtribe was part of ishrael or the new jerusalem, but I've never been able to find more info. on that.

Similarity seems superficial to me as the owl-entity doesn't look nearly as 'evil' as the mothman, and the owl-entity hasn’t been destroying bridges and scaring motorists (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused012.gif) - but it's still interesting as it's a modern account of ultraterrestrial/spirit activity.

Edit: Not looking for any banishing methods or anything, I'm just interested in other's experience or knowing-of spirits that take the form of owls.
