On my last holiday I went to a place in Namibia called the Skeleton Coast. It is so secluded that you actually need a permit to go there. It is the most amazing feeling to hear the sound of the waves crashing down on the desert shores and just a little bit scary when the sound of the hyenas interfears with it. But then I have never liked being indoors.
