Does anyone know anything about this stuff? I am interested in more info...I watched a talk and have done some google searches but I'm not satisfied ... I'd like to see an official document on a
trust worthy sight before I go any further or even text that shows the Alchemical proses I can buy gold and make this myself perhaps. This is what I know or should I say what I've seen.

any Alchemists out there I'd like your comments especially

THE PHILOSOPHERS STONE - EXOTIC MATTER !

The truly astonishing fact about the enigmatic white powder of high-spin gold and platinum group metals is that it is not actually a new discovery. The ancient Mesopotamians called it shem-an-na and the Egyptians described it as mfkzt (vowels are omitted in the hieroglyph translation), while the Alexandrians venerated it as a gift from Paradise and later chemists such as Nicolas Flamel called it the Philosophers' Stone.

At all stages of its history, the sacred "powder of projection" was reckoned to have extraordinary powers of levitation, transmutation and teleportation. It was said to produce brilliant light and deadly rays, while at the same time being a key to active physical longevity. In today's world, the Institute for Advanced Studies (Austin, Texas, USA) has described the substance as "exotic matter", and superconductivity (one of its primary characteristics) has been claimed by the Center for Advanced Study (University of Illinois, USA) as "the most remarkable physical property in the universe".

apparently you melt gold too long until it burns and then crush it up - moses and the golden calf, manna, etc

I am a professional goldsmith. Having personally worked thousands of pounds in gold in nearly every way imaginable, I feel qualified to speak about gold. I would like to say a few words here about the Philosopher's Stone.

"Burned" gold remains more or less the same sort of matter except that it acquires oxidation, which usually turns it black. Gold is often found in this state in riverbeds, as sand, probably overlooked by people visiting those beds. Under a torch, gold can be oxidized and then cleaned with weak acids.

Gold will retain its integrity even if reduced to ridiculously tiny pieces, or flattened to a few atoms thickness. Since gold is a Periodic Element, it cannot be reduced or altered beyond its basic characteristics by any means short of dividing the atoms themselves. Gold does form compounds and mixes easily with most metals, but this is certainly not the "pure gold" of the alchemists.

Part of traditional refinery methods involves the use of strong acids, particularly Nitric acid. This compound is represented in alchemy as the "green lion" which "devours the sun." The resulting product from this stage in refining is a fine white powder from which gold can be extracted. I used to keep a bucket of this power outside the door to my old workshop, and many people assumed it to be an ashtray.

During the 1930's, many Jewish goldsmiths used this technique to preserve their stock from the Nazis. It was done in the ancient world as well, and tombs and barrows have been discovered with the partially-refined materials in them, presumably to prevent robbers from stealing the hoard. John Dee's supposed sample of the Philosopher's Stone was also found in a tomb. Anyone who acquired this material would be able to produce Karat-gold by adding it to lead and performing a simple chemical process. This, I believe, is the real legendary Philosopher's Stone, to which mountains of otherwise irrelevant allegory have been added.
