I had a dream in which I was shown two bottles (They appeared to be highly ornate, something akin to old Jim Beam bottles.)

The first bottle wore a man's suit and tie on both sides. The stopper had a cartoonish head of a donkey on one side and an elephant on the other (I'm presuming these to be the Democratic donkey and Republican elephant.)

The second bottle was orange and shaped like a cartoonish-looking Indian chief wearing a full headdress. Of all things, he came with a small package of Slim-Jims taped to him! (Note: Slim-Jims is a brand of beef jerky, for everyone outside of the US.)

I'm stumped ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hmm.gif) I don't know what to make of this.

Good question. The mind is a fickle machination. Something as simple a slim jim to you may be very insignificant yet your sub-conscious self holds an affinity or disdain for them. Therefore if you like slim jims then that gives that corresponding bottle a positive quality. If you don't like them then the quality is negative. If you really have opinion one way or the other then the quality is neutral which can mean uncertainty, indifferance or even curiosity (as in you've never had a slim jim). The slim jim itself could also indicate the type of masculine qualities contained within the bottle or represented by the indian figure. If you've ever seen a slim jim commercial then the energy expressed by them could indicate the same energy in the bottle. Masculinity still seems to be the common denominator. Perhaps as though you were trying to get in touch with your own masculine self or perhaps bottle up a male's influence on you. Ultimately dreams can mean many things. Often times dreams will try to express multiple messages through the same symbols.

I never thought about it that way ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hmm.gif)
