Good day,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but since it is under "religion" I thought it'd be alright. I became quite stunned when a certain person told me that the Freemasons were a Satanic sect. Can we disprove or approve of that? Please send your helpful insights as they are always greatly appreciated.
Yours Truly,
Mr. Curi
Well, if you believe in christianity I have no real place to speak about satanism. I've seen a mason's "ritual" and it's just a bunch of old guys in a group doing things that really make no sense to them but it seems they're in it for a such and such business purpose. All the things they do are very bland and I saw no real act of magic that seemed to be happening. I can see why some old growth christians might think that it's
satanic because ritual is involved, people walking around in circles and wearing aprons and mispronouncing and forgetting an "old" ritual. From my experience the guys have no idea what they're doing, for example; they are supposed to memorize the ritual but only one seemed to remember most of the words and when another was supposed to say "Prostrate of the alter" he instead said "Prostate of the alter," and holding back laughter was the least of my worries at that time.
Quick answer: There was no direct devil worship, but there was ritual.
