Is feeling exhausted, headache, sleepy, dizzy a normal thing after conjuring spirits? Anyone of you have this feeling after your spiritual works?

Yes it is normal.

Generally you will have a "high" or "drunk" feeling. It wears off and you become very tired and out of it. These effects wear off after a few hours and at the most after a good night's sleep.

Sometimes the next day you will get the evocation hang over. Tired and moody and just sort of out of it. This too will pass after another good nights sleep.

As you advance the hang over lessens and finally doesn't happen anymore unless you perform something really strong, but the high and come down after a working generally never goes away after a major magical working.

It is a good sign, means you were successful. If it lasts more than a day or so then I would begin to worry.

Well, I agree that it is normal, but the effects wearing off after a few hours?! I wish! Sometimes I would say that is the case, but with anything that is "heavy" I am not surprised if I feel the after effects for a few days afterwards.

I think a lot depends on one's physical state before doing the ritual, how much effort one has to put in, e.t.c. Still, If I am leading a ritual and really give it my all...and the rite is such that this involves really "charging up" my bio-energetic systems to do so, then I frequently feel tired for anything up to four days afterwards. I must admit though, that I didn't know I could push myself that hard until I had to!

I guess it is always going to be different strokes for different folks, but the sensible thing to do is to take it easy until you know your own limits and to keep a close eye on your mental well-being afterwards. I would consider that more important since the body is a machine, so provided you didn't blow something by going beyond your limits then it'll take care of itself. Post-ritual pampering is always a good idea though. Where possible I always like to have a nice cup of tea as soon as I leave the temple and then a slap-up meal shortly afterwards. Things like that really help to ground you out and recharge your batteries.

Edit: Syntax
