I am not sure if this is true, but do you all think that the same spells you place on other people you also place on yourself?

Can you explain a little better exactly what you mean? Are you referring to karma or something like that?

Or perhaps you mean that if a witch manipulates the natural course of something through spellwork, it is also possibly going to inadvertantly affect his/her own natural course in life as well. Sort of like the domino-effect?
