I agree 100%. Global warming is a lie, but other ecologies
DO need our attention. For example, there are some unique animals in South America that are dwindling in their populations due to a special plant (dammit I forget the name) that ONLY grows in virgin forests. Insects feed off the nectar from the flowers from this plant and in turn are eaten by rodents and birds, which then feed larger animals up the food chain. The larger animals can compensate by consuming a different food, but some of these insects only feed on this plant, and if the plant dies out, then a whole chunk of wildlife will die off due to the resulting chain reaction.
This is but a single example of several areas that really do need our attention, but currently is left alone to pursue irrelevent issues. It's the same as what Child Protective Services sometimes does by taking a child from a loving family to make it look like they are doing their job because it's often hard to find the truly abused children (because they are hidden and the children are afraid to talk). Politicians and environmentalists want to look like they are doing their jobs (and snag extra votes) by embellishing some issues while ignoring others.
