The Archangel Gabriel Options

Greetings followers of the Necronomicon.

I have read several times from people in this forum that the Spirit Barashakushu ( one of the fifty names) is actually the Archangel Gabriel. A few days later, i was searching through Konstantino's Summoning Spirits and found a description of the Archangel Gabriel with an attached sigil. I have found and compared the two sigils and they appear very different. You can search this for yourself by utilzing the pdf files of both grimoires ( if you dont have them, pm me and id gladly send them to you).

I wonder why the two sigils are different. Could it be that those who refer to Barashakushu are deluding themselves or that both sigils are potent enough to summon the same deity?

well like I said, I'm no expert on the nec and I haven't worked with that name, but according to others (like edunpanna) they could be the same spirit, but I tend to think that Barashakushu would be stronger since he is probably a deity-like spirit, and although an archangel has power like a God, they are more subtle. A God-like spirit I would think is more massive, but "contained". What I mean by that is that it would probably show more restraint but if you've ever tried to summon a Godform, you know what I'm talking about when I say that it's like having something HUGE in your face, but you maybe can't see it but the pressure inside your head is enough to make you wonder if it's going to pop if it unleashes it's full force.

I would contact both and see which you find more receptive. Everyone I know that has worked with Gabriel said that he is incredibly chatty, so if you want a good teacher then go for him. Ask someone like edunpanna or ashnook about Barashakushu's personality.
