I've been studying many religions for months now, and I've found not one that I am comfortable with.

My bare personal beliefs are as follows:

Reincarnation, when the soul learns enough it passes on, to what I can't say.
Either numerous individual entities as in Asatru or just aspects of one as in Wicca both seem plausible to me... I have a hard time believing in one single entity.
Practices of magick, divination, alchemy, psi etc. are accepted.
No "believe me or suffer" crap.

I realize this isn't much information to go by, but any help would be nice. I'll answer any questions that could help you give a decent suggestion. Bluntly... I'll help you help me. Many thanks in advance.

Many thanks, nocturne....

93,

you may like Shintoism then, you need to look past the illussion created by the short lived State Shintoism and the royal version down to the heart of the belief system and you may find what I feel many who turn to Wicca are looking for, a none dogmatic personal connection within and in nature with divine connections.

(also no scripture at all) it believed to be more a personal connection with nature and with your own higher self.

Good luck 93 93/93

Give the Kybalion a read (google it, it's online for free) - it's not exactly a religion, but hermetic spirituality seems to me to be very much a universal spiritual practice. It adapts well to all religions and in and of itself is an excellent guide for coming to understand your own personal place in the universe. I keep a copy of this book on me at all times much like a christian does the bible.

All religions focus on particular aspects of universal law, particular faces of 'God'. I say, why not cut the fancy ritual and dogma associated with one religion or another, and focus on the core of all religions?

No matter what religion you become enamored with, more than likely you will grow out of it eventually, if you're already dealing with this kind of spiritual quest. If you were not so inclined, you'd most likely have been comfortable in whatever religion you were raised with.

Good luck in any case!

peace
