Well, I was talking to a friend and she said tha her boyfriend almost died when he was Lucid Dreaming.

She said that in the dream world there are some creatures (Inorganics, i think is their names) that can answer some questions but they also can try to trap you out in their world. If they manage to do this, you can die traped in the dream world.

In my friends case, some shamans had to enter the dreaming world and take her boyfriend out. He said that he was talking to the Inorganic and suddenly a lot of inorganics appeared and grabed him. Then he lost his counsciouness.

Is that true?

Aside from that book in all my experience with dreaming, dream magick and lucid dreaming I've never encountered anything that was physically dangerous. I've had some prety realistic dreams and perhaps if i was extremely sick, elderly or other wise near death I might have scared myself to death but other than that dreams are physically harmless. However lucid dreaming can be harmfull if done too much. If one does this too much they can inhibit their normal sleep cycle and prevent themselves from getting enough REM. While one wouldn't die from this necessairly they could cause a variety of health problems.

Psychologically dreams can be dangerous in many ways. The power of suggestion may lead us to believe in things that are not real. If you believe you are talking to entities and they are some how commanding you that too is not healthy. Dreams can also tap into underlying mental conditions and emotions especially anxiety, depression and irrational fears.
