Conversating With Gods, Questions from me and I hope answers from you Options

Now, I have given this a decent amount of thought, and from my experiences Gods and spirits wil come and go of there own regard. So how do you come into contact? Complicated rituals to build you personal calling power seem to be prequisite. Then another more personalized set to focus on the energy of the being. Well then is there also the problem of being "capable" of differenciating the difference between your own thoughts and that of whoever your calling? I'd say that you would notice the difference, but there are also less agressive creatrues that you may never notice are whispering at you.

Maybe it has to do with my level of perception. Or maybe I'm romanticizing the idea of playing with spirits but I would love to learn more, even if it is as simple as contacting what people call "guides" Although I found it easier to listen to one that belonged to another, than trying to "hear" my own.

Both Vagrant Dreamer and Altpath have the correct ideas here, particularly if you wish to invoke any being, though I would not advise this with some. Crowely states it simply in Liber ABA, "Enflame thyself in praying." He also suggest "reciting a suitable mantra", and "assumption of the form of the God--by transmuting the astral body into His shape." If you can astral travel and know the correspondences of the tree of life for the particular god or spirit you wish to speak with it is possible to travel on the tree to the particular location where said being resides and converse. The last suggestion I believe to be the safest way to achieve your goal.
