What is the significance of seeing a sea turtle in one's dream? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused012.gif)

I think transition and transformation could be pretty common themes for you. You've posted several dreams over the past few months and if I remember correctly the main theme was change of some sort. To me this doesn't mean that you are going to change or that you have but that you, at least a part of you, desires to change. Exactly what and how is why you have these kinds dreams. Fox Muldar (X-files) once said something to the effect "Dreams are answers to questions we don't yet know how to ask". OFten the desire to change, or transition from one phase of being to another is built upon deeply repressed emotions and memories. Not necessarily traumatic, but probably pretty important.

I'm in the process of making a career change (By day, The Sorceress is a professional chef.)

I'm having to fight years of conditioning. Up until recently, it never occurred to me to actually ASK to do what I want to do (I was always of the opinion that you had to quote-unquote "start at the bottom" and kiss your boss's *** to move anywhere in the field. Don't quote me but I believe if I remember correctly snakes correspond to males and females to turtles. Perhaps, just as theory, there is some masculine pressance in your life, maybe in the past or presant, which you haven't yet entirely delt with. It could just be a bad relationship that ended long ago and just some aspect that you haven't yet gotten over completly. maybe just one thing that still just stands out in the back of your mind. You might not even be aware that you had such feelings/memories in the first place.

Now, this is why I like dream interpritation, you could just as easily retake this statementand reword it to say something else, something with more meaning: " if I remember correctly snakes correspond to males and females to turtles. I think I've narrowed it down somewhat to one person (My former boss was very judgmental, prejudiced. He didn't seem to care for women cooks working in "his" kitchen.)

For the longest time, I think I let him get to me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Well I am starving and its been a long day and I need to eat before I start to think the keyboard is edible.

You know, I can make a nice mushroom bechamel sauce that would go great with that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angel.gif)

Thanks for your help. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
