Subtle Reality Shifts, from small objects to entire streets Options

Similar to this other topic,http://www.sacred-magick.org/index.php?showtopic=1063 where it seems perfectly obvious something is off, but in more subtle situations. I've experienced a fair share of them.

• My ceiling fan had six lights and six blades, but now has 5 & 5. As do my old pictures of it.
• I'd taken off a ring and set it down in plain view, before painting, yet afterwards I couldn't find it. The next day it was right where I'd left it.
• A favorite song of mine had a really annoying guitar rift that was only in the left channel, now it's only in the right.

I can't claim omniscience, but when I run across something I'd forgotten it isn't accompanied by an feeling of uneasiness. I also recall someone once suggesting that this sort of thing may be an indicator someone's trying to manipulate you. Though other explanations I've heard are that it could be object slip from one multi-dimensional level to another, or maybe even machine elves can move things.

I'd love to know what other people have had happen to them with reality shifts. Especially if you've seen something unusual (my 3rd eye isn't as developed as I would like). There's also a great collection of reports at http://amasci.com/weird/unusual/objs.html

i have had similar experiences except also a couple of my experiences include bugs. its very strange but sometimes when i stare long enough at something...er...a bug will randomly appear in that spot. i have done the reverse as well; i have in the past completely rid myself of a nuisance fly...all i did was point at it...and it popped out of existence midair. it was weird. not to say i can do this on will...far from...but i do think it is something each of us is capable of (either shifting subtle reality or generating things with thought). i mean what else should i think? i talked to a friend about it and she has had similar experiences so i guess im not alone in my insanity...which is a comfort.

yes but it IS annoying when you put something down in an exact location and a minute later you look back and its not there. i used to think i was forgetful...but i experimented with it...and things just didnt add up.

speaking of adding up...one particular time it occurred was when i was doing some math. regular math...and the problem right in front of my eyes shifted. the number 4 changed to number 7. i raised my hand and asked the teacher if his book corresponded with my book...he gave me the first previous problem with the 4 then blinked and corrected himself and gave the second problem with the number 7 in it. he thought his eyesight was going bad. wrong.
it happened once with language too. i was listening to an ordinary english conversation and then it was completely in a different language. and then it switch back...no one seemed to notice but me. none of the people spoke another language but me...my friends only knew English. and yet when i mentioned it they were puzzled.

one huge example was when i was 12 and i was walking down a trail with my family. i liked to linger behind and we all past this old lady on the street. we all saw her...we waved. traffic stopped for her. we kept going but i turned around to watch her shuffle through the street; to make sure she crossed safely...she was gone. now i only turned my eyes away from her for two seconds. literally two seconds, and she was gone. when i started looking for her (there arent any trees where did she go?) my parents asked me what i was doing...i mentioned her, and then they asked me "what lady?" but you see...they had waved to her moments before. what the heck!?!

now i dont know about subtle reality..but it seems to me any big changes arent noticed because we must reedit our conscious minds around them. is it possible?
