I will express some of my normal experiances.

please note i am not talking about dreams, but consiously entering this realm.

How do you perceive the astral plane?
For the nature of this discussion, I am seeking the place they go to most often or the least subtle of these planes, as in the end depending on tradition they refold on themselves from a different perspective the deeper you go.

When my experiences in the astral work, I usually free fall through a black void like space. From there, I usually rift to whatever world I wish. Hence, no set setting. The setting is mixed because different entities adhere to different socializations and culture types. Vehicle types can vary... depends if you like to drive, or pilot, or ride, or not! All structure materials may be used and/or formulated at will. I wish to say that all colors exist for any and every element, not just water! Travel method varies according to use. Warp between worlds/universes, float in undefined areas, fly to definite locations within worlds, walk on the ground.

I sometimes worry about dress, but only what I want to look like from the get-go. Sometimes I will go someplace and my clothing will be appropriate regardless (IE, trunks when warping to a water resort.)

For some odd reason, my sight only has peritheal capabilities on the astral until I make a Full Projection, where the lucidity and visiblility is at or better than during material hours. My intuition is clearer, and touch can be normal, but more often than not, is somewhat more sensitive (I burnt both fingertips in an accident when I was younger). My hearing is more flexible, even includes dim ranges.

I never had a personal place of power. I just....Rifted.
