I was wondering if anyone has ever tried working with rune projection, as in projecting forward the power and visualization of a rune for whatever purpose. For instance, you could use a protection rune projected around you to form a shield, or maybe use the Thorn rune (Thurisaz) as a weapon. Maybe projecting the ice rune for physical cold, or to slow something or someone down. I'm just curious to see if anyone's had any experience with this, because it sounds like it could have some interesting possibilities. Thanks:)

If I were to use a rune as a weapon I would use teiwaz. It is associated with war, victory, Aries, bloodstone, and pretty much all things related to war. Then to "project it" I would create an energy ball in my hands and while doing this I would visualize the ball of energy as it is being formed and at the same time visualize teiwaz (as an example) being infused into the energy ball. Then I would either store it or expend it on a target - much the same you could do with any other energy ball.

Also... having a pack of tarot cards chucked at your face would hurt like hell. It might seem silly but just think what bag full of stones would feel like? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
