This is part of Antikes Zaubergerät aus Pergamon collection. These objects should be located somewhere in a museum in Berlin. The collection consists from ten objects : a bronze triangle with a prop in the middle on which a circular disc is laid, two bronze rectangular plates, a bronze round disk (the talisman of the picture), a bronze nail, two bronze rings, and three black, flatly polished stones, all covered in inscriptions and magic symbols. One ring and a plate were lost before reaching Berlin, but their descriptions exist anyway. The findings which came to light in Pergamon at excavation that took part somewhere in the end of 19th century, comes from the first half of the 3rd century A.D. The objects have been used by a cult of goddess Hecate. These objects are described in “Antikes Zaubergerät aus Pergamon” by Richard Wünsch, Berlin 1905. (It is in German language).
