Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem that's been on my mind lately. Just recently I have taken up residency in a cottage style tent(yes a tent...a modest lifestyle to say the least). Naturally when i go places i tend to worry about whether or not I'll still have a home when i return. Now before you think "this guy lives in a tent, what in the hell could he be worrying about loosing?", the life-style is a chosen one. Little less than a year ago I started studying & practicing Ceremonial Magick. I had just turned 17 at the time and found myself steeped in theory and the gathering of my tools and the assembly of a proper Magickal library, so that i may continue on with The Great Work (in practice as well as theory), when the time came. Needless to say the time has come, and I turn 18 in just a few days. So, a about a week ago a purchased a large tent, and pitched camp in the furthest reaches of my mother's yard of about 2 acres(yes, it's sort of comical i suppose, but i don't yet have the finances for college and am unable to acquire a job until the day of my 18th birthday.). Anyway, now that i have the time, tools, and space to perform the ritual work, I am well on my way. But, like i said when i travel, especially over night trips, i tend to worry whether or not my tools, books and other appliances will be there when I return. Now, I do have the eye-of-Horus hanging at the entrance of the tent and a Eliphas Levi Tetragrammaton pentagram hanging at the rear of the tent. Even though i have much faith in these objects, i do feel the need to know I've done all i can to protect my home and Sacred place of study and practice...Is there anymore I can do? Rituals that can be done?Anything?
Thank you for your time & advice. I hope i haven't rambled too much and the consequence losing your interest and hence your help, I just felt my situation should be stated clearly, so that it may not be misinterpreted nor misunderstood...Thank You.

Greetings!
I've found that a small figure of Anubis very effective, especially outdoors....that is, if you don't mind large, black dogs cruising the area. Es has the right of it though...don't mess with the elementals for watch duty. They are extremely basic, which can lead to misunderstanding them entirely. Good journey to you, I wish you well! A tent life can be very rewarding. I used to backpack into the Catskills and the Adirondacks for camping and experienced quite alot of devic energies! (Read up on Findhorn when/if you get a chance). Lucky to have enough land to put up a tent and do what you have to.

You can buy ''flat pack'' reasonably sized sheds or outhouses nowadays that would do the trick, have one in my garden that I wouldn't mind using as a space if it wasn't full of family stuff... a neighbor of mine has a garage he built out of breeze block, insulated, perfect really. Otherwise you can make a chest to put your goods in, cover it well and hide it outside perhaps even bury it lock it with a door cover it with loose shrubs while the tent stays free of any untoward intrusions, make sure its water proof and you'll be alright....

I'd slant it to ensure water runs off of it if I were you, perhaps dig the hole wall it with plastic then brick, fitting the chest snugly inside the enclosure with a handle in the center of the door so you can either open it or hoist it out when you want. Got my imagination going, man that'd be cool.

Plz post a pic if you decide to do that.

Thank you very much for your advice, you seem like quite the innovator (IMG:style_emoticons/default/Lighten.gif)
