Hey everyone,
I live in Victoria, in southeastern Australia. Yesterday the temperature here got to 46.5C, which is the hottest on record, surpassing an earlier record set a week ago of 45.1C. The rural part of the state was afflicted with numerous, severe bushfires. Our family cat, and some of the local bird life, have shown signs of extreme heat-related distress.

We are also experiencing a severe drought and water shortage; the state's water catchments are currently at 33% of capacity, and we have not had regular rainfall here for 14 years now.

I am wondering if someone with more magickal experience could possibly outline a procedure which I could use for possibly contacting some of the associated Elementals (the salamanders, undines, or their overseers) and asking them first of all what the cause of this freak weather is, and secondly, what actions I or anyone else in my area can take to bring about some relief. I am also worried that even if these spirits gave me some sound advice, I would not be able to convince people outside of my own immediate family to follow it, and thus, it may not be of much use.

If bym or anyone else with more experience with this could offer some suggestions, however, I would appreciate it. I do not know what I alone can do, but I am wondering if trying to commune with them in some way could help.

Not merely for me or for my family, but for the animal life here as well. If humanity is responsible for these changes to the weather system, I can understand that we should be punished for it, but the animals surely do not need to be.
