Flying Dream Theme..., power lines Options

So, I have flying dreams probably every other dream that I'm aware of, and I've been recording all my dreams for a while. There's this reoccurring theme in my flying dreams specifically that I thought I would share here, and see if anyone had any ideas.

In my dreams, the act of flying is not spontaneous at all - it takes focus, awareness of the ground and my relationship to it, and of course the willingness to jump and keep going up instead of falling down. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

However, in every single dream, I always have a hard time avoiding power lines. Regardless of the apparent setting - usually my grandmother's old house, another reoccurring theme - I almost always have to struggle to avoid powerlines while flying.

Anyone have some similar dream experience? Any ideas on what it might symbolize? I have thoughts, but I want to reserve them until I get some outside perspective.

I guess I could through in a bit of my experience flying here... I mean its not like I have any experience with dreams or anything....

Sometimes I actually fly feet first as though I were peddling a bike... why?... cuz that's how I roll! But seriously in those dreams I'm usually not aware of that I am sleeping. When I am aware that I am sleeping I usually float more than I walk. And if I want to go higher, there's no super man action I just go there. I do have to be careful though. Sometimes when I jump, I go a bit too high and well yes gravity does exist in my dreams - more or less. Its quite the rush though. I also have to be careful about flying because if I'm not paying attention I can find myself floating away from the earth... past Mars... and Saturn... and Solar system and suddenly the galaxy becomes a really faint spot of light surrounded by endless other dots of light. And I feel a really cold and lonely.... Other times I go the other direction and find myself trying to avoid the super massive black hole in the center of galaxy (it doesn't work) and I find myself being shot out into who knows where and beyond empty space. I have explored a lot of interesting worlds though and met some pretty interesting creatures a long the way.

Of course I don't think I'm actually traveling alien worlds... but its the most practical form of space travel I know of.
