What respectable Chaos Magick forum doesn't have a thread about dear old Ellis?

Has anyone done any work with her recently?

Or perhaps tagged some new locations? The old past-time of Glitterbombing?

I'm inclined to believe that a Chaos forum is actually more respectable without mention of Ellis, personally. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif)

Nevertheless, for those who haven't heard of it:- (IMG:http://www.marauderunderground.com/images/linkingsigil.gif).

Ellis (A word formed from pronouncing an abbreviation of the words Linking Sigil, or LS) was a sigil and associated entity created at least partially, as the result of a forum thread on the late OccultForums.com. The authors of said thread wanted to raise the general level of chaos and random, acausal occurrences within their environment, in order to try and "wake people up," (the "glitter bomb,") and Ellis was devised as a means of fueling said chaos. The idea was that if the sigil was drawn anywhere, random energy within the sigil's immediate environment would get drawn into the network and become fuel for any other spells which used the sigil as a component.

Since then, Ellis has proven useful for inducing broken, bloodied fingers, visions of giant spiders with glowing red eyes, and terminal, enraged instability in servitors it has been attached to, among other things.

Ellis has also proven effective for cases where anarchic teenagers need something to make themselves look cool; I'm told the sigil works well on the back of a leather jacket. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif)

I'll have to give this a try. Though i can understand the inherent dangers, I think the primary difficulty with that random chaos is that it's likely just included in a work without the necessary compartmentalization and direction one needs to successfully turn randomness into focus

This came up before about another kind of servitor, and the associated concerns with using that kind of energy. Around that time I began thinking about incorporating those kinds of energies into rituals, such that one servitor acts as a kind of 'battery' for the ritual itself.

I don't want to get off topic here, but I posted my own method in another thread, link forthcoming... here: http://www.sacred-magick.org/index.php?showtopic=6724

peace
