Hey, i've been looking for norse sagas all over the place, and i am starting to belive they are not translated at all.

any good books on norse mythology to reccomend? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/prop.gif)

anything on egyptian mythology would be good too

have you looked for the song of the nibelungs/ nibelungenlied? or the prose edda? i believe there are several different translations out.

while you're at it, i know its not literature but check out Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen.

For your viewing pleasures, it covers four rings, one of which is my favorite: Die Walkure. for obvious reasons, i should think.

while his operas are not necessarily accurate and loyal to the mythology...if all your looking for is a good story...thats where you should go (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

also i was looking around for possible reference material and this looked like a good site: http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/index.htm
