Something really really really weird just happened
Ok I was lying in bed like half asleep and kind of dreaming but I knew I was dreaming
so I was trying to make things happen in the dream but then when I woke up and was just laying there dozing off again and my whole body went tingly and I heard a like really fast flapping [humming bird wing beat-ish?] sound to my left and I couldn’t move it took a huge amount of effort to flex a finger and I heard a female voice but I have no idea what it was saying or if it even said any words?
and then I freaked out coz I couldn’t move and all that weird stuff was happening and then it stopped and my heart was racing and I blinked and sat up and I know it wasn’t a dream I could feel my body but couldn’t move it I could see my room but couldn’t move my head to see more than my ceiling I could feel my bed sheets on me and I managed to move my finger but now I realize when I moved that finger it didn’t come into contact with anything and it should have.

What happened???

almost OBE?

and how could i do it again ?

This is very similar to my first few OBE experiences. It takes time to learn to move around during an OBE - in the first place you don't use the same mechanism to move, you move with your will directly rather than the body as a 'middle man'. Secondly your mind is in shock from this new experience and has trouble processing your intention into action under the new circumstances.

Keep doing whatever you've been doing, and wait - don't try, just wait - for it to happen again. Go over the experience in your mind over and over again before you lay down especially, and read about OBE techniques, etc., regularly before bed. It will probably happen this way a few more times before you start to get moderate control over the experience, but that's all part of the process! Like learning to use your body as a baby, at first you don't have much control and all movement is wild and erratic, but eventually you learn to balance yourself and how to translate intention into action.

peace
